Learning Begins Here
Canara Vikaas Pre-University College came into existence in June 2012. The first batch of students consisted of 183 students from different parts of Karnataka. In a matter of 5 years the number of students has gone up to 900. Among these 700 reside in our hostels. The college caters to the Science and Commerce streams.

The campus is within a five kilometre radius of the Airport, Railway Station, Bus Stand, important places of worship, Shopping malls, Restaurants and other civic aminities. The institution is connected to all parts of the city through city bus and other transport facilities

EXAMINATIONS AND TESTS
Periodic examinations are conducted to assess students’ assimilation of the subject and to enhance their performance. The number of examinations is as follows:
- 4 monthly tests of 25 marks each.
- 1 Terminal Examination
- 2 Preparatory Examinations for II PU
- PU Board Examinations for both I & II PU students.
- The academic work is supervised by the Correspondent, the Principal and a team of Class Guides.
ATTENDANCE
Attendance is taken at the commencement of each period and the student who is not there in the class is marked absent for the period.
